The U.K. votes today, with the expectation that Tony Blair and the Labour party will win a comfortable (if not quite as overwhelming) -- and historic -- third majority.

Indeed, elections often bring about some pretty creative data visualization work. Here are a few that have been making the rounds for the U.K. election:

Indeed -- somehow I've got myself invited to a party to watch the BBCWorld coverage of the election tonight. I'm sure it'll be fun, but of course I know next to nothing of the details and history of the British political scene, beyond the major figures in each party.

But the BBC election site is super-cool... I wish ethey did the website for CBC's election coverage, too. Fun with graphics and charts...
